The Muthabara Foundation has been founded by Dr Serra Kirdar, in association with the Middle East Centre,
University of Oxford and the Centre for Applied HR Research, Oxford Brookes University, to maximise the
potential of Arab women to achieve managerial and professional roles.
The UAE is the primary initial focus, given its position as a leader and exemplar for other Arab nations.
The Muthabara Foundation aims to increase understanding and clarity of what is needed to maximise the potential
of UAE women and to offer well-founded advice, recommendations and substantive programmes to support this aim.
